1. I am familiar with the 1934 Nursing Homes Registration Act and have already reviewed the current Standards and Regulation Division requirements for 2026.

2. My proposed location has enough square footage to allow for 4 feet of clearance at the foot of every bed and 3 feet between beds.

3. Do you have a plan to secure a Registered Nurse (RN) who is currently licensed with the Nursing Council of Jamaica?

I already have an RN on my founding team.

I know where to recruit them but haven't started.

I thought I could run it with just Care Assistants.

4. I have all the operating policies required by the Ministry of Health?

I have all of the written operating policies.

I have an idea of what they are, but have not written them as yet.

5. Do you have at least 6 months of 'Working Capital' (payroll, food, utilities) set aside to cover the period before your beds are at 80% occupancy.

Yes, my funding is secured.

I have some savings but might need a loan.

I was hoping the first few residents would cover the bills immediately.
